Since 2020 I have been working in Marketing, I have had the pleasure of working in a Marketing Department in a business within the Highways sector, over these 6 years I had never intended on starting my own business, I was happy working within a company of people, there was routine, there was security and most importantly there were people there who I considered my family. This tends to be the case when you are around people for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
To this day I can appreciate the reason why most people do not start their own businesses… The Risk, the rejection and the fear of failing. In early 2025 I started running Social Media Campaigns for the business and I noticed how much working with video was helping the businesses social presence, and I was feeling fulfilled putting my talents to work.
During this time I was noticed by my first client, and at that point I was able to lock them in for some filming in early September 2025 and started helping them with their social media and relieving the Managing Director from the pressure of curating social posts, allowing them to focus on the bigger picture.
From this point I was hooked on the idea of doing what I do freelance and not just the marketing.
I was excited to help people capture their golden moments on camera and visit new and unique people across the UK, I was excited to learn more about different industries and different companies in England and help them bring exposure to their businesses.
To this day I still get excited about the prospect of organising shoots for small businesses and weddings and compiling campaigns and data for SME’s who just need that extra hand.
